Joanne and Pete's Cosy Autumn Woodland Engagement Shoot at Towneley Hall

When I first got in touch with Joanne to plan her engagement shoot with Pete, she told me that they had met as teenagers, just 17 and 18 years old, and had been together ever since. When we talked about locations, Joanne said that woodland and parklands would be perfect. As I read her email, I had a brainwave. Back in September I had visited Towneley Park and Hall in Burnley for the first time. It has everything - great views, stretching lawns, towering trees and a lovely woodland walk; it seemed ideal for these two. What Should I Wear for an Autumn Engagement Shoot?

The outfit you choose makes a big difference to the feel of your engagement photographs. Do you want your photographs to have a cosy feel? Would you like to keep it casual? Or show your individuality with your outfit. There's no right or wrong, though I would suggest dressing up a little, and if you're unsure on your outfit send me a quick photo of it, I'll be happy to help. If you're having an autumn engagement shoot, you're in for a treat! Pick a time of day: I recommend morning or evening for some very good reasons - Morn

Your wedding will be about relationships, laughter, celebration. And that's what our photography is about too. But if I'm not posing you, you might wonder how on earth we take photographs for your engagement shoot. How can you have couple's photographs without posing? It's really quite simple. I plan a route, taking in beautiful scenery, in locations that are special to you. Then we wal
